STY-2 eddy current testing machine can carry out hardness sorting and flaw detection simultaneously, used in industrial applications to perform simultaneous hardness and flaw inspections on materials.
Because ferromagnetic substances can sense a certain current value in the alternating magnetic field. Our probe emits a uniform magnetic field, and the current induced in the magnetic field is not the same for the workpiece with the same size and different hardness and cracks in the surface. STY-2 eddy current testing machine compares the current values induced by the workpiece and standard samples, displaying results as magnetic flux on the computer screen. This enables distinction of hardness cracks in same-sized workpieces.
